14. ETG/GMA-Fachtagung „Netzregelung und Systemführung“ in Leipzig
Prof. Matthias Luther, Ananya Kuri, Johannis Porst and Ilya Burlakin from EES participated in the 14. ETG/GMA-Fachtagung „Netzregelung und Systemführung“ held from Sept 28 to Sept 29, 2022. The conference was held in Leipzig, Germany home to one of the world’s oldest schools and numerous cultural institutions. Ananya Kuri presented her work titled ‚Phase Restoring Principle: Concept of a novel grid-forming converter scheme‘ on 28th Sept 2022. She introduced a globally stable grid-forming control scheme. Johannis held his presentation on 29th on the topic‘ Kurativer Einsatz von Batteriespeichern in hochausgelasteten Netzen‘ discussing large-scale battery storage systems, the so-called grid boosters, intended to avoid critical grid conditions in high-load network situations and quickly relieve overload. Later on Wednesday 28th, a gala dinner was held where all the participants could connect and discuss various topics.
