PESS 2022 in Kassel
From November 02 – 04, 2022, Fraunhofer IEE hosted this year’s PESS and PELSS in Kassel, Germany.
LEES was represented by Minxiao Wang and Jonathan Löbel. Many interesting topics in the field of power engineering were presented. Minxiao Wang discussed the topic „A Generic Data Generation Framework for Short Circuit Detection Training of Neural Networks“. It was developed in the course of a project work supervised by Georg Kordowich. Jonathan Löbel presented the topic „A Python Test Environment for Multi-Agent System in a Large Electrical Distribution Grid Model“. The topic is based on his master thesis, which he wrote under David Riebesel.
In addition, there was a guided tour of the new Fraunhofer IEE building, as well as a visit to SMA, Europe’s largest manufacturer of solar inverters.
